Story Ideas

Collectively, we’ve had so many experiences on Sears Island!
Possibly too many to single one out to write about.
Here are some thoughts for crafting your story:

Girl in tree on Sears Island

Are you a regular visitor? What brings you back?
Has being on the island ever brought a new perspective?
Have you had any special encounters with nature?
Did you meet friends for a picnic?
Have you watched children delight in the story path?
Have you spent an afternoon building with driftwood?
Or an hour skipping stones?
Are you a member of the Wabanaki Nation?
Can you speak to the importance of Wahsumkik to your culture?
Do you remember camping on the island?
Or visiting before the causeway?
Did you always make it back before the tide washed over the sandbar?
